At Beanfield, we believe that community is one of humanity’s most powerful inventions. A group of people that collectively create a more positive outcome for one another by being supportive of each other can achieve anything. Community doesn’t need to be geographic, it can also be a particular industry, or any group with common interests & goals.
Beanfield was born in a small forgotten neighbourhood that was being completely ignored by the large incumbent telco. Burgeoning small businesses in the area were suffocating without proper Internet connectivity, just as the Internet was exploding in the 90s. We stepped up to the plate and built a fibre-optic network throughout the neighbourhood to support our community, which then flourished, and is now regarded as one of Canada’s premier tech & design hubs.

We carry this community philosophy through everything we do, starting with our personable and knowledge staff. Every region we serve has a full team of completely local support & engineering staff.
Even our technical delivery mirrors our community philosophy. Instead of serving many customers from a large central site, we have many smaller points-of-presence in every neighbourhood we serve – all meshed together for massive redundancy.
